ABSTRACT
Enhancing the skills in solving real-life problems involving GCF and LCM in two given numbers is a life skill. Skills in solving real-life problems involving GCF and LCM in two given numbers (M4Ns-IId-70.1 ) is one of the least mastered skills for the second quarter in Mathematics 4 for the School Year 2020-2021. Hence, this study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of STAR (Simulation on Television and Audio Recording) in enhancing the skills in solving real-life problems involving GCF and LCM in two given numbers of Grade 4 pupils of San Antonio Elementary School. This study used One group pretest-posttest research design. Total enumeration, a non-probability sampling, was utilized to 28 pupils who served as respondents. Using the statistical tools such as mean, standard deviation, paired samples t-test, and Cohen's-d, revealed that their skills in solving real-life problems involving GCF and LCM in two given numbers significantly improved after the implementation of the intervention. It is hereby recommended that this intervention should be sustained and shared with other teachers.
