Background: Dr. Edgar F. Olua is an education professional with over three (3) years of experience in curriculum development, program management, and instructional leadership. Born and raised in Baranggay Oltama, Urdaneta City.
Career: Prior to joining in Schools Division Office -Urdaneta City, he was designated as a guidance counselor at Urdaneta City National High School and at the same time holding a position of Head Teacher VI of Values Education Department, where he was responsible for developing and implementing guidance programs for students of all ages. He has also served in the division as Education Program Supervisor in charge of Edukasyon sa Pagpapahalaga and at the same time the Division Senior High School focal person.
Expertise: Dr. Olua is an expert in curriculum development, program evaluation, and instructional leadership. He has a strong understanding of educational research and best practices, and is skilled in developing and implementing effective educational programs that meet the needs of diverse learners.
Achievements: Under Dr. Oluas' leadership, his teams have developed and implemented numerous educational programs that have received regional and national recognitions. He is also one of the NEAP facilitators and a National Learning Resource Evaluator.
Personality: He is known for his passion for education, her ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, and his commitment to continuous improvement. He is a collaborative leader who values open communication, transparency, and inclusivity. He is also a jolly person which promotes a happy working environment.
Current Role: As the Chief Education Program Supervisor, he is responsible for leading the development and implementation of educational programs that align with the DepEd 's mission and goals. He oversees a team of Education Program Supervisors, Public Schools District Supervisors, curriculum specialists, and instructional coaches, and works closely with stakeholders to ensure that educational programs meet the needs of diverse learners.
