As a STVEP school, SMSAT is designed to offer exploratory subjects in Grade 7 from which learners choose for their specializations based on their interests, skills and strengths which they will take for their last 3 SYs in JHS. Each TVE specialization covers 2 hours each day, to include laboratory period.

The SHS, likewise, offers TVL track, other than academic tracks, each specialization covering 2 hours each day for 4 days in a week which allow learners to enter the world of work, to engage in small-scale entrepreneurship, or to further enhance their skills and competencies with TESDA, other than to continue their tertiary education.
