The quality of education the Department of Education provides today to our students across the country has a great impact to the quality of manpower we will have in the future. Education in this regard plays a very significant role in the country’s advancement. Obviously there is a need to ensure a good quality of education for every learner because it is for sure that our future leaders, managers and workforce will emanate from these students we have now.
The Sanchez Mira School of Arts and Trades plays a great role in providing the students from barangays of Sanchez Mira, Pamplona, western Abulug and lower Apayao with right knowledge, lifelong skills, and proper attitude to prepare them to become caring, self reliant, productive, and patriotic citizens in the country.
Through the years, the school has been one of the community’s strong partners in the development of young people who are imbued with a deep sense of commitment not only to their respective families but to the public service.
The school promises to maintain its status as a quality education provider and a developer of values and competencies which can offer them better opportunities and will enable them to help build a better country. Though lacking in resources, SMSAT continues to prove its worth and strive to work for excellence in skills and academic areas of competence and extracurricular activities that can help bring the community to the limelight.
This School Improvement Plan is crafted to serve as a roadmap for the school in the achievement of its goals and objectives with its proper coordination with its stakeholders in the community guided by the Department of Education’s VMV.
We dream of Filipinos who passionately love their country and whose values and competencies enable them to realize their full potential and contribute meaningfully to building the nation.
