“Bayanihan” is one of the core essences of the Filipino culture where the concept of the Brigada Eskwela has rooted. Bayanihan (communal unity) or concerted solidarity is the Filipino spirit of helping one another as a community in achieving a certain task or goal in a meaningful way.
This school year’s Brigada Eskwela: Bayanihan Para sa Paaralan highlights the importance of unity and support of the community and its stakeholders in improving and sustaining the physical condition and environment of the school to create a place conducive for learning.
READING CAFE is a school project which aims to provide a reading hud where students, teachers, and stakeholders can access various learning resources. This project is in partnership with Dr. Kathleen Wilson and Sandy Makielski and the school principal, Rachel S. Rendon.
The construction of the school perimeter fence and entrance gate are few of the many milestones of FNHS. In retrospect, the land area in front of the school has been a subject of almost 2 decades of dispute between the illegal settlers and the school itself. With the strong leadership and efforts of the school principal and its stakeholders, the issues were resolved. And today, the project is now on its near completion.
