Claveria Central School

Claveria Central School with a school ID 102608 is located at March 17 Street, Centro 1, Claveria, Cagayan and was established in June 2017. It has an area of 28,370 square meters donated by the Nebab clan. The school has a Gabaldon Building introduced during the American Period and it has been preserved and restored because this is a part of Filipino heritage.

It is approximately 175 kilometers from the Schools Division Office of Cagayan which can be reached through van. Since it is a located along the highway, near the coastline and in the northern part of Luzon, tropical cyclones, storm surge and earthquakes are the most frequent natural hazards the school experienced. The school, however, is used as evacuation center for the past years.

Based from the Learning Information System the school has the following total enrolment which is distributed as follows:

For the current year, SY 2019-2020, the school has 26 nationally funded teachers. 25% or 6 are male teachers and 75% or 18 are female teachers. Of the total number of teachers, 3 or 11.54% belongs to Master Teacher 2 and the remaining numbers are as follows: 1 or 3.84% SPET 1, 18 or 69.23% Teacher 3, 2 or 7.69% Teacher 2 and 2 or 7.69% Teacher 1.

For continuous improvement, projects/interventions are implemented to improve basic competencies of teachers like utilizing the NCBTS-TSNA, conduct Learning Action Cells (LAC) sessions, mentoring and coaching.

To ensure child health and safety, the following programs, projects and activities are being undertaken: Inclusive education, implementation of the Child Protection Policy, implementation RA 9003 or Solid Waste Management, WINS implementation, implementation of nutrition program and others.

To this day, the Claveria Central School is ever-glowing with her remarkable feat and records in competition.
