The Sports Activity program provides Alternative Learning System (ALS) learners with opportunities to participate in sports competitions alongside formal school students through the Division Athletics Association Meet (DAAM). By engaging in basketball, volleyball, and chess, learners develop self-confidence, teamwork, discipline, and social skills. The program benefited 96 ALS learners, promoting inclusive education and personal growth while encouraging active participation and positive values through sports. 

The Professional Learning Network (PLN) serves as a continuous professional development program for ALS implementers through monthly Learning Action Cell (LAC) sessions. It provides a collaborative platform where teachers share best practices, discuss instructional challenges, exchange effective teaching strategies, and conduct self-assessments to strengthen their competencies across different learning areas. By promoting collaboration, reflective practice, and continuous learning, the PLN enhances teachers' knowledge, skills, and confidence, enabling them to deliver more effective, learner-centered instruction and improve the quality of education provided to ALS learners.

The ALS Graduation Ceremony 2023, with the theme “Gradweyt ng K to 12: Hinubog ng Matatag na Edukasyon,” celebrated the achievements of Alternative Learning System (ALS) completers who successfully fulfilled the requirements of the K to 12 Basic Education Program. The activity recognized the graduates' perseverance, hard work, and resilience while highlighting the Department of Education's commitment to providing inclusive, accessible, and quality education for all. It also served as a significant milestone that honored their accomplishments, encouraged them to pursue higher education, employment, or other productive opportunities, and showcased the success of the ALS program in empowering out-of-school children, youth, and adults to become responsible and productive members of society.
