The first State of Province Address (SOPA) which was successfully delivered by our beloved governor - Hon. Ramon "Mon-Mon" V. Guico III, was viewed by the principal, teachers and learners from Grade 4-6 at 9:30 A.M. on March 27 in the school gymnasium.
Congratulations to the following "Ang Munting Tinig" young writers and their coaches for bagging another Over-all Championship tilt in the recently concluded District IV-B Schools Press Conference held on March 24, 2023 at Magtaking Elementary School.
This victory would not be possible without the help of our hardworking HT 3 Sir Alejo Cayabyab , our ever-supportive School Principal Sir Samuel Rosario and of course our diligent PSDS Dr. Gerry De Guzman .Again kudos to our young journalists! The Search for Mr. & Ms. Turac ES was held last February 27, 2023 at Turac ES Gymnasium. Denzel Prince De Vera, grade 2 and Frenches Dhane Castillo, grade 5 were crowned as Mr. & Ms. Turac ES 2023 respectively.
Dr. Jesusa V. Macam - EPS in Science and Dr. Vilma M. Beltran - EPS in Mathematics joined hand-in-hand in giving technical assistance and supervision to Turac Elementary School headed by Mr. Samuel C. Rosario, Principal III on February 21, 2023. Technical Assistance given were validation of assessment results, integration of Language Strategies in DLL, Least Mastered Competencies, formulation of HOTS test questions and implementation of PPAs in Science and Mathematics.
Turac ES conducts Mid-Year Program Review and Evalaution last February 9-10, 2023 to discuss with employees their progress on goals and performance to date.
The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires. Teachers and heads who served as the resource speakers were told, explained, demonstrated and challenged their colleagues through In-Service Training held last February 6 – 10, 2023. With the different topics concerning “In-Service Training on Breaking the Barriers and Academic Gap: Empowering 21st Century Teachers through Innovative, Interactive Teaching Approaches and Self Development Training-Workshop”, the teachers were equipped with the new learnings and ideas that are very relevant and substantial.
Earthquake is one of the famous disasters that caused people injured and the worst died. it cannot be detected when and where it would be happened to annyone. anent to this, Turac Elementary School holds the simultaneous school-based Earthquake Drill on February 3, 2023 at 9:00 in the morning. This is one of the programs being conducted to practice and internalize the risk reduction measure to eventually make a habit of being prepared before, during and after the earthquake.
With a mission to make SDO-SCC digitally equipped and globally competitive in terms of technology, 76 school websites were successfully launced today, January 30, 2023, through the management of our very own transformative SDS, Dr. Sheila Marie A. Primicias. With the leadership of Mr. Samuel C. Rosario - our principal and through the undying efforts of Mrs. Edna F. Cayabyab, ICT coordinator/website developer with the help and support of the school's website development team, Turac ES was chosen as Best School Website in District IV-B during the Simultaneous Launching of 76 School Websites at Don Federico Sports Dome, San Carlos City, Pangasinan. Truly Turac AgNatitilak!
The Turac Elementary School was hailed as the 2nd place winner in the Search for SDO-SCC Brigada Eskwela Best Implementing School- Medium Category in the recently concluded 2022 BRIGADA ESKWELA AWARDS held January 23, 2023 , at Kabaleyan Cove Resort.
Assessed based on school preparation efforts, partnership engagement activities, impact to school performance, resources generated, and actual implementation, Turac ES under the leadership of Mr. Samuel C. Rosario, school head, Mrs. Jasmin F. Aquino, BE coordinator, together with the teachers, parents, barangay officials, SPTA officers and other stakeholders has been recognized and stood out from the rest as exemplary.
The unrelenting support and collaborative efforts of various stakeholders amidst pandemic resulted into an improved schools’ facilities towards a better learning environment and made this success possible.
Special recognition was also given to the notable stakeholders of Turac ES, our major stakeholders: SPTA President Robert Pamintuan, Punong Brgy. Samuel Cayabyab and former SK Chairman Melanie Sarmiento who contributed a lot and made Turac ES rise again.

Assessment is today’s means of modifying tomorrow’s instruction. Turac ES administered the Second Quarter Assessment last January 26-27, 2023, to evaluate learner’s mental ability and how well the teacher taught about the lesson. Examination after every quarter one of the best ways in getting a reliable source to measure how well the learners learned.
Health is the greatest wealth and it is necessary to check this wealth’s condition regularly. To address the health needs of Turac Elem. School learners and to ensure the maintenance of good health of everyone, SDO medical team headed by Mrs. Susan Galvez conducted health check-up on January 24, 2023. Medical record of each learner was updated and necessary precautions and advices were given to children by the very able division nurses.
In compliance with the DepEd Order no. 009, s. 2021, Institutionalization of a Quality Management System in the Department of Education, the Schools Division Office of San Carlos City Personnel Audit Team conducted Personnel Audit at Turac ES on January 18, 2023.
The Audit Team composed of ASDS Dr. Arlene B. Casipit, SGOD Chief Mr. Villamor Q. Gloria, PSDS Dr. Gerry C. De Guzman, SEPS in Planning Mr. Renante Camara, Planning Officer Mr. Levi G. Bautista, and Administrative Officer II Mr. Nereson Gutierrez looked and checked into the following school documents: 201 File, Class Program, School Form 7, School Plantilla, School Accomplishment Reports, and Omnibus Designation.
This activity was held to ensure a consistent, effective and efficient delivery of basic education services across all levels of governance.
SDO-SCC has been through various adversities in its 55th years of existence. In this year's Foundation Anniversary, SDO-SCC centered its celebration on its continuing stories of resilience in light of the past struggle with the COVID-19 Pandemic. The event was held last December 15, 2022 at the SDO-SCC Dome.
The celebration was highlighted with the Thanksgiving Mass and Program. The Program was made special with the message of the amazing and transformative SDS, Dr. Sheila Marie A. Primicias. Indeed, SDO-SCC is Happy to Serve!
Pursuant to Deped Order No. 026 s. 2022 known as "Implementing Guidelines of the Establishment of School Governance Council", Turac Elementary School through the leadership of Mr. Samuel C. Rosario, Principal III, conducted the orientation and election of the School Governance Council last October 17, 2022. This is to recognize and strengthen the role of school stakeholders, alongside Local Government Units (LGUs), as partners in providing learners accessible and quality education, upholding children's rights, and promoting respect and well-being in the learning environment to ensure effective education service delivery in our school.
Turac Elementary School celebrated its fulfilled renovation and drainage construction which were made possible by the support of SPTA President, Mr. Robert Pamintuan and Barangay Officials headed by Brgy. Captain Samuel Cayabyab. A ribbon-cutting ceremony which was graced by SDO-SCC personnel led by SGOD Chief Mr. Villamor Q. Gloria together with Sir Maurison Aquino was conducted successfully on June 17, 2022.
Turac ES Faculty and Staff together with the SPTA Officers joined hand in hand in celebrating the Christmas Party on December 16, 2022. It was such an enjoyable and memorable activity because it promotes team building and bonding for everyone.
In compliance with DepEd Order 24 s 2022(to improve the delivery and quality of Basic Education), Turac Elementary School with the full support of Mr. Samuel C. Rosario, Principal III, administers the Division Achievement Test to all Grades 1-6 learners on December 13, 2022.
A FAMILY THAT PLAYS TOGETHER, STAYS FOREVER. The SPTA officers headed by Mr. Robert F. Pamintuan together with the school faculty and staff joyfully celebrated Family Day last December 9, 2022. Different activities such as family dance contest, singing contest and laro ng lahi added more fun and excitement to the said program. This was such a successful event because it valued the spirit of teamwork as one family and community and gave an opportunity to reconnect, re-energize, refocus and share some quality time together.

With the theme "Century-old Turac ES: Marking History with Legacy and Pride", Turac ES led by Mr. Samuel C. Rosario commemorated its 100th founding anniversary last December 17, 2022 via Facebook Live. The Turac Barangay Council headed by Brgy. Chariman Samuel C. Cayabyab, Alumni Association headed by Mrs. Sonia C. Magalong, former teachers and other stakeholders participated in the said event. This centennial celebration provided a platform to celebrate how the school has evolved and instill a sense of pride to learners and stakeholders.
Turac ES, Laging Handa!
Turac ES faculty and staff toegether with the different stakeholders worked collaboratively in preparation for the Safety Seal Certification and Limited Face-to-Face classes. School benefactors donated paints, tarpaulins, trash bins and rendered voluyntary work to make the school ready for the implementation fo the expanded face-to-face classes. Active involvement of stakeholders in school activities really plays an important role in creating safe and enjoyable learning environment.
Brigada Eskwela 2022: The Heart of Bayanihan
BAYANIHAN IS ALIVE! Turacians together with the school stakeholders coming from the private sectors and different organizations united as they successfully made Turac ES a great place to teach and learn during Brigada Eskwela 2022 last August 1-26, 2022. Schedule of various activities conducted such as pruning, cleaning, painting, etc. was organized efficiently by the school BE coordinator, Mrs. Jasmin F. Aquino. The hard-working and kind-hearted volunteers gave a vivid example and meaning of the true concept of unity.
