5th Grade
Welcome back!
We are thrilled to welcome all of you and your students to fifth grade at DGS. We are so excited to start the year and start building our partnership. Fifth grade is a very exciting time and a big transition in both academics and maturity. As a fifth grader, your child will be taking on more responsibility. In order for us to have a successful year, we believe it is essential that we communicate. So, please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you ever have questions.
5th Grade Supply List
Personal Items (for each student to keep and use):
1-inch binder
1 pocket folder, does not need to be 3 prong
1 reusable water bottle- Will be labeled
Commons (items to share with the classroom): All school supplies will be collected and redistributed among the students. Please do not label items or buy specially patterned supplies.
Disinfectant wipes: 1-2 containers
8 count dry erase markers (Red, Green, Blue or Black preferred)
50 sharpened Pencils- Please buy yellow only and please NO mechanical pencils
1 pack of colored markers
Tissues: 1 box
2-3 reams recycled paper
Optional Supplies for Donation to 5th Grade commons-Extra sharpened pencils , Extra ream recycled paper, roll of scotch tape, handheld pencil sharpener, extra expo markers, yellow sticky notes, permanent markers, personal hand sanitizer, colored pencils, crayons, plastic binder dividers, glue sticks
