Space Partners are key to exposing our youth to the meaningful, real-world impact they can make through inspiring, connected spaces. We've partnered with makerspaces, co-working spaces, colleges, tech-enabled rec centers, and more!
Through Space Partners, youth access empowering technology, interview community members, and meet creatives, entrepreneurs, and leaders who inspire them to envision what they want for their future.
why Host a Site?
Invigorate and enrich your space & community with innovative, creative youth
Promote your space to Baltimore's future innovators - our youth - and present leaders - Coaches, Clients, Partners, & Guest Speakers
Dates & People
During Bet on Baltimore:
Monday - Friday, July 5th - August 5th
9 am - 5 pm
Student programming is from 10 am - 3 pm
12 Youth, 2 Adult Coaches on site
Before Program:
Allow Dent to drop off resources and materials at the site at a mutually agreed upon time in June before the program starts
Allow Coaches to tour the space and meet someone from Space Partner the Week of June 22 before the program starts
Dent's SPACE needs
Must Haves:
Classroom-like space, 15+ person-capacity
Space for students to eat - can be same space^
Fridge to hold 20 lunches
Air conditioning
Updated Fire and Health Permits
Projector/TV with HDMI access to project from laptops
Welcoming, inviting space for Baltimore youth
Nice to Haves:
Access to 12+ computers at agreed upon times
Breakout space(s) as needed
Specific resources and tools as specified
Storage space
Allow Dent to hang wall materials like Dent Mindset posters as long as it is done in a way that will not damage the wall (i.e. tacks or painter’s tape)
Access to Public Transit nearby
Access to vibrant community for empathy interviews & product feedback on-site or nearby

Some of our Sites donate space, some ask for in-kind donations (i.e. Made@Dent created swag, or a Dent-led design thinking workshop), and some ask for Dent to compensate for their costs
