Our Denters are...
position details
In 5 weeks (July 5th - August 5th), you will work on a team of other Baltimore City high school students to build a solution for a real challenge faced by a client or your community.
TIME COMMITMENT
Denters will report to their site in-person 10a-4p, Monday through Friday, July 5th-Aug 5th. Denters are expected to notify Coaches of any absences and are permitted max 3 pre-scheduled absences to remain enrolled in our program.
COMPENSATION
Denters are paid $12.50/hr every 2 weeks through YouthWorks. The deadline to register is April 1st. If you registered last year, you must register again this year.
LOCATION
Denters will be in-person at one of 10 different locations throughout the city depending on the track. Denters are responsible for transportation, and will be notified of the location to inform your placement request.
NUMBER OF SEATS
We are offering 150 Denter Positions this summer,
anticipating 50 returning Denters and 100 first-time applicants.

DEnter commitment
This summer, each Denter is expected to...
COMMUNICATE consistently and professionally through Slack and email with the Coach, team-members, Dent staff, and external partners collaborating on the project.
TAKE OWNERSHIP of the project by being actively engaged in workshops and making progress during independent studio time.
PROVIDE FEEDBACK on your experience in the program during weekly check-in with your Coach. Offer & receive productive feedback to/from peers at your site.
