Our Denters
Baltimore City High Schoolers ages 14-19 who interviewed & are selected for being curious, with a growth-mindset, and entrepreneurial & creative passion.

BUILD COMMUNITY
Create a culture of empathy, authenticity, collaboration, agency, and creativity. Build relationships with Denters and site partners.
GUIDE LEARNING
Teach Denters the tools and methods of equity-centered design, maker-skills, and entrepreneurship to reach weekly goals.
COMMUNICATE NEEDS
Communicate regularly with the Dent team to share learnings, insights, and needs (supplies, opportunities, learning intervention)
position details
In 5 weeks (July 5th - August 5th), you will
co-coach a team of 12 Baltimore high school students through a project-based learning internship. Learn More in our Info Session Recording or Position Description (Below)!
IN-PERSON TIME COMMITMENT
9a-5p, Mon - Fri
Jul 5 - Aug 5, 2022
Onboarding 20 hours/week Jun 20 - Jul 1.
5 hours wrap Aug 8-12
1 paid vacation day (with advance notice)
3 lunches off/week (covered by Co-Coach)
COMPENSATION
First-Time Coaches are paid $4,100 and Returning Coaches are paid $4,535. Payroll is run every two weeks from Onboarding to Wrap-Up (June 20th - August 12th).
LOCATION
Coaches will be in-person at one of 10 different locations throughout the city depending on the track. Coaches are responsible for transportation to their site each day.
NUMBER OF COACHES
We are hiring 24 Coaches this summer. Each pair of Co-Coaches will be supported by one of 4 Site Supporters.
Coach one of our TRACKS
This summer, we are offering 10 Tracks for Denters to explore their creative potential and make their Dent in Baltimore and beyond! Each site is co-coached, typically by a Coach with experience supporting youth and a Coach with experience in creative / maker skills being taught. Learn more below:
