The Counselor Connection is a new addition to the middle school counseling department this year (2024-2025). It is similar to a newsletter, and a new issue will be linked below at least each quarter. It will be full of important resources and updates on counseling-related classroom lessons, topics, and events happening here at DMS!

Character Strong is our new SEL program. We are going to be using this district-wide, K-12. Check it out, and let the School Counselors know if you have any questions! We are excited to have a program that goes across the entire district.
Plains Area Mental Health is our local provider for therapy. There are locations in Denison, Ida Grove and Carroll.

This App is available for download on the Apple App Store. It offers mental health related videos, meditations, etc. and is updated frequently with new content!
