Denison Middle School and Denison High School utilize Xello as our state-mandated career information system. Xello helps students build the 21st century skills needed to thrive both during and after high school. Xello equips all students with the knowledge, real-world skills, and planning capabilities to navigate their future.
Xello lessons and activities are embedded in DMS classroom learning and facilitated by Mrs. Jensen and teachers. Students can access Xello by logging in through Clever. Check out the resources below for more information on logging in and exploring pathways, colleges, careers, and more!

They provide free programs, tools, and resources to help students with all aspects of planning and preparing for the academic, social and financial aspects of life after high school. Activities Resume: A list of your activities is useful for scholarship and admission applications. Many of our area scholarships require students to include something like this in their applications. 8th grade is a great time to create and start adding to your activities resume! You can also add jobs, volunteer positions, skills and achievements.
Understanding Financial Aid and Paying for College: College can be expensive - no question about it. But there are TONS of options available to help students cover these costs. College is a possibility for everyone. These slides are meant to introduce students and families to the financial aid process, the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), scholarships, grants, loans, and other ways to pay for college and/or trade school.
