Diploma Pickup Times

Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 9 am - 2 pm Counseling Office

Once school begins in the fall 2022.

Diplomas must be picked up by the student themselves, or the parent or guardian listed in Infinite Campus, with ID. Diplomas cannot be mailed.

Requesting Final Transcripts

If requested through Naviance, final transcripts for colleges will be sent by mid- June.

After June 15th, students should use Parchment for final transcripts requests.

Alumni Final Transcripts

Alumni transcripts can be processed through www.parchment.com for a small fee.

Transportation and Media Release FormS (Online)

All seniors participating in the graduation ceremony must fill out these forms. All seniors MUST ride the coach bus from Chamblee HS to the stadium. This is true for students who have their own cars. This is true for students who live across the street from Hallford Stadium. All seniors MUST ride the coach bus from Chamblee HS to the stadium. If you don't ride the coach bus to graduation, then you don't get to walk at graduation. You will be considered a spectator.

All Seniors may ride home with their families. Seniors do not need to ride the bus back to CHS.

All Graduating Seniors, who plan to walk in the May graduation ceremony MUST:

Sign Forms Online: Have a parent or guardian sign the permission forms for TRANSPORTATION FORM and MEDIA RELEASE FORM. The two forms are combined into one Online Form and are written in both English and Spanish.
Graduation Practice: Attend Graduation Practice the day before - 9:30 AM until we finish (usually around 12:30 pm.)
Graduation Day: Arrive at Chamblee High School BY 6:00 AM on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. Come dressed in your cap, gown, tassel (string thing), stoll (white thing), any cords or additional stolls issued by the school, your pants or skirts, shoes (no pointed heels or stilettos - for safety of you and the turf field). We will provide a light breakfast and beverages. See the Graduation attire Dress Code and Behavior page for more details.

All seniors MUST ride the coach bus from Chamblee HS to the stadium. This is true for students who have their own cars or who live across the street from Hallford Stadium. You can ride home with your parents or guardians.

Girl Scout's Gold Award & Boys Scouts Eagle Scout

Parents and Students who have or will have earned by graduation the Girl Scout's Gold Award or the Boys Scouts Eagle Scout? Please complete this form as soon as possible. The senior sponsors are starting to layout the programs. Questions: Email Heather_Miller@dekalbschoolsga.org.

Print it and have your teacher complete it. The Due Date to Counseling is May 05, 2023.

We have almost 400 seniors in the Class of 2023. We will communicate with you through paper flyers hung up around the school, this website, student run Remind texts, and occassionally through school email and other social media. Dual Enrollment students are expected to seek out information on the days they are not physically on campus. Questions, email Ms. Miller or Ms. Peyton, senior co-sponsors.

We work hard to add everything important regarding senior year activities. We are happy to share as much information as possible in one space. When another group is "in charge" of an event, we try to make that clear.

Please also fill out your cap and gown height & weight, and check your Senior Dues.

Dual Enrollment students: If you are not on campus during Bulldog time, please stop by Ms. Miller's room, 4138 anytime you are on campus to pick up your popcorn. Please stop by Thursday or Friday.

It is tradition for the yearbook to have each senior's "I'm most likely to" quote under the senior picture. We want to get as many senior responses as possible so everyone can be included.
