Scientific Method Practice:
We had some antiquated desktop computers that were headed for the recycling facility but I intercepted them! Students were given the objective to disassemble (according to written directions I gave them) and then reassemble the monitors based on the notes they took. We only had one monitor fail to start upon completion. We then talked about how this activity related to the scientific method and spent the weeks prior to the Middle School Adventure practicing with it. It was a great time! I'm thankful to work for a school that encourages learning through discovery and opportunity.

My name is Tessa Byard. I am the Middle School Science and Health teacher for the Dedham School. I am so ready to start this school year with some exciting units of study.
