Experts say that 400 to 800 million jobs could be replaced by 2030. This is a huge problem, but we are starting to think about solutions. Not many solutions exist, but the jobs mainly affected are food preparation, production, and transportation. One solution is for the people in these careers to get a postgraduate degree, but for many, that is simply not realistic. Another option would be to move into a low skill job or an apprenticeship, but those are just temporary. The main goal is flexibility and higher education, both for your own benefit and for your career (Carter).
AI will create many new jobs in the future. They will create many new jobs, such as cybersecurity experts or programmers, but they will also replace many jobs, such as factory workers or some types of doctors. It is harder to replace jobs involving empathy, such as counselors or kindergarten teachers, and more jobs in that field may open up. Many jobs will be lost, but an unknown number will be realized, and many people will work better, more productive jobs than ever before (Totty).
