WeVideo

What is it?

WeVideo is an online video editor provided to staff and students in the DDSB. Using WeVideo on iPad allows you to make fast and simple edits, including green screen. After starting a project on iPad, it can be added to a user’s account and then worked on from a computer. Note: Once a file is edited in a computer browser, it cannot be re-edited on iPad.

What can you do with it?

  • Create a video story
  • Demonstrate understanding of a topic and incorporate the green screen (i.e. while students share their research on an animal, they could be green screened to appear beside that animal, pointing out important features)
