Local Scholarships -
The following Scholarships have different due dates that will appear in the Google Classroom and on the Calendar here:
As the scholarship gets added on the Google Classroom, a new application may be presented and will be updated below.
State Scholarships:
College-Based Scholarships:
College-based scholarships are scholarships that are found at the colleges you are accepted to. They not only have acceptance scholarships (given once accepted), but many also have a database with a separate application. I have example pictures below:

The key to these is completing the application process before the end of Fall Break to ensure to are accepted in time to meet the deadlines associated with the databases.
Keep in mind: These are only examples from APSU. You will need to do further research for the colleges you are interested in to see what they offer.
Federal Scholarships:
To apply for any Federal Scholarships or Grants you must complete the FAFSA. The FAFSA stands for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. This application will become available on December 1, 2024. Please reach out to Ms. Badon if you have questions.
If you plan to attend TCAT in the Summer after graduation, you will need to complete the FAFSA for both 2024-25 and 2025-26!
The most common type of Federal Scholarship or Grant you will hear about is the PELL Grant. This grant is merit based. Please review with link and pictures for more information.
National Scholarships
The key to National Scholarships is to remember that you should NEVER pay for a scholarship. If they want money from you it is a scam!
If you find a scholarship but are unsure if it is safe, reach out to Ms. Badon. She will verify for you.
