Types of Colleges:
TCAT or Technical Colleges
2-year Community Colleges
4-year Universities
All of these colleges require the completion of the 2025-26 FAFSA. However, if you plan to attend TCAT or a Technical College during the Summer after Graduation, you HAVE TO COMPLETE THE FAFSA FOR BOTH 2024-25 AND 2025-26! If you do not, you will NOT be able to use TN Promise or any other State Aid.
