Budget and Tax Request
The board conducted its annual required hearings on the budget and for the tax request prior to the September regular board meeting. At our regular monthly meeting on the 9th the budget and tax request were considered and adopted by the board.
The total valuation of the district is now $978,900,013 (down $21,807,774 or 2.2% from last year), for comparison the valuation of the district in 2007, the first year of the merger, was $345,357,264.

Other board meeting information
The board approved the district’s bus routes as they currently exist. They are always subject to change as ridership and roads dictate.
NASB Board Award
Sandy Noffsinger was the recipient of a Level VII Award from the Nebraska Association of School Boards. Sandy and Mike Blecha are the only board members to reach that level. It is quite an accomplishment. Congratulations Sandy.
Enrollment:
The administration reported to the board on the district enrollment numbers. Our enrollment is up by about 20 students K-12 and we have 26 students enrolled in our pre-school and transitional Kindergarten programs.
