As part of our celebration of To See an Owl by Matthew Cordell, individual schools are invited to host their own student art contest inspired by the book.
Each school will organize and run its own contest.
Schools may choose how entries are submitted and judged.
One student winner will be selected by each participating school.
The selected student winner will receive an autographed copy of To See an Owl as a prize.
In addition, a selection of student artwork from across the district will be chosen for display at the spring district-wide art show. Space is limited, so artwork will be selected based on available room and to ensure representation from all participating schools. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase student talent and celebrate the power of reading and creativity!
Participation is optional and organized at the school level. Please contact your school librarian for more details.
