Ideas for Learning Stations
Listen Like an Owl
Ask students to sit quietly for 1 minute either outside or in a quiet area and just listen. Then have students record the following:
3 things you hear
2 things you see
1 thing you feel
Learning focus: Observation skills and mindfulness
Owl Fact Station
Display owl facts with visuals (what they eat, where they live, how they fly silently) Students will then answer questions:
Why do you think the owl didn't come close in the story?
What makes owls special?
Add a simple quiz or true/false cards
