Youth - Come Play
The Douglas High School Tennis program wants to involve our youth to get to learn the game of tennis. Please take advantage of the Tennis T-Cub Clinics. The dates will vary from year to year but we will try to offer a clinic in the fall. Registration info below.
*SJTA has free clinics on Saturdays. Please view their website for more details.
Our campers will need:
Athletic wear (layers - it's Nevada and we'll be outside)
Tennis shoes/sneakers
Tennis racket (I'm looking into getting ones the players can borrow)
Water and snacks
Sunscreen/hat (protective wear from sun)
Positive attitude
Players in 2nd to 8th grade are welcome to join when we have a clinic.
Please buy a YOUTH racket for your child. All beginning players will benefit from using a youth racket to begin learning. Eventually, your 7th and 8th grade students may be able to use an adult racket (you just don't want it too heavy). Walmart and Big Five sell some less expensive ones. *Please come about 15 minutes early on the FIRST day you bring your child. You may need a little more time to make sure the registration is filled out, make the payment, and ask questions if needed.
*Registration may be on a first come, first serve basis if needed. Fill out a registration form for each child.

October 6-10 from 4:00-5:30 at the DHS courts

Spots may fill up - the form will close Oct. 3rd - you may still stop by to see if we have spots!
Complete the online registration form. You can send money to DHS or bring money (cash or check) on the first day your child joins.

Please email Coach Andrews [nandrews@dcsd.k12.nv.us] if you are signing your child[ren] up. Spots may fill up
