Tennis has been around for a very long time starting in France in the 12th century and evolving to what we know it to be around the 19th century in England! It has been played at Douglas since... forever. All you need is a racket, some good shoes, and a positive attitude. With that said, let's try hard to make it to state and win it!

We are the Girls' Tennis team at Douglas High School! In a match against another school, we play a total of 18 sets (3 rounds of 6 individual sets). Best of 18 wins the match. We have our top 3 singles and our top 3 doubles play the opponent's. The goal is to be in the team's top 3 of either the singles or doubles. It is a difficult task but if you are determined, you can accomplish it!

Preseason starts around June and goes until August. Season starts in August and goes until October.
