DCI began the process of creating its second NAF academy during the 2021-2022 academic year with a proposal to our executive leadership team, and our Board of Directors. 

Academy Enrollment:

2021-2022 = 48

2022-2023 = 149

2023-2024 = 225

Course Offerings:

• Principles of Health Science (Year Long)  (Embedded Medical Terminology both semesters)

• Sports Medicine (Semester Long)

• Medical Anatomy and Physiology (Year Long)

• Nurse Aide Skills (Year Long)

• CP Program Core: Personal and Professional Skills (Junior and Senior Year)

We are looking forward to expanding this program as students continue to share their interests in developing knowledge and skills within the healthcare industry.
