Animal shelters and rescue organisations take in abandoned, sick, injured or runaway strays. Some shelters/rescues cover the medical costs and vet bills for the strays by themselves, but most shelters fund the animals with donations from the public. A good few shelters have a no-kill policy, which means they keep the animals until they find a family for them. Unfortunately, some animals never get a home due to overcrowding and have to be euthanised for certain reasons, maybe because of not much money for food, or not enough volunteers and workers.

Every dog that is rescued is health checked, de-sexed, vaccinated and given flea, tick and heartworm prevention. They also try to provide any necessary treatment and emergency surgery that may be needed.
The aim is to find these beautiful dogs, a kind and responsible adopter which can give them a loving forever home and help them have a better life. If you haven’t experienced the joy of adopting a dog, now is the right time!
We need a minimum HK$150,000 monthly to keep the shelter running. We rely solely on donations from the community.”

Animal Rescue and Care Animal Rescue and Care- It’s a common thinking of people that animals and birds don’t have emotions. It is not true. They too have emotions, feel pain and hunger. We do animal welfare, save them from cruelty. We have many like-minded friends who help us in this cause. There are different Whatsapp groups and Facebook pages for the welfare of animals.
We feed around 500+ dogs and cats and get them treated when they are not well, believe us it gives immense inner happiness and positive vibes. To control their population we sterilise them after deworming and vaccination for their healthy life.
Everyone has the right to grow including animals and birds. Man is killing them brutally for food, leather, and even for testing of cosmetics, medicines, etc. It can be avoidable. Stop using products that are made after animal testing or using their skin and other body parts. We must not abuse any of the homeless animals or species such as reptiles, birds, etc.
We will try to give a secure place or get adopted as many strays as we can who are blind, paralyzed, or old. Also, those who can’t survive on road due to some permanent health issues.
