Why might pet owners abandon their pets when they've just spent their money to get one? Why waste their money on a pet that they've just going to abandon? Moving - Moving to somewhere that doesn’t allow pets- move to somewhere pet-friendly or give to a trusted person that is willing to take care of your pet!

Money - Buying a pet to earn money or can't afford money to take care of a pet- just make your pet happy with what you have, or buy big packs of food so that you don't need to keep on buying lots of  little food packs.

Disinterest - One doesn’t like the pet anymore; look, habits, behaviour- Just deal with what you have or give to another person.

Responsibility - Doesn't know how to take care of a pet or didn't know it took so much responsibility- try asking an expert or learn by yourself!

Behaviour issues - Pet can be very aggresive or too shy- there is something called a pet trainer, why not hire them?

New baby - It’s allergic to the pet or it could hurt the baby- sorry, family first.. probably best to keep baby safe right? But the pet can be given to a family member or a friend still.

Job Loss - Can’t afford to pay for the medical costs- try to get help from family members that would be happy to lend some of their money for you.

Marriage - Someone hates the pet- it's up to you; either your lover or your beloved pet.
