Our team, Claws & Paws (see link HERE), recently (on 6 March) volunteered at a shelter called Sai Kung Stray Friends (SKSFF). We were able to walk the dogs and investigate their behaviour towards strangers. From the information given to us by another volunteer (Dave), we learnt that most of the dogs in the shelter had an unpleasant history with humans besides their owners before they came to the shelter. With this explanation, we have found out why most of the dogs we walked were wary, anxious, shy, or scared while we were walking them.
Here are some photos of us volunteering at Sai Kung Stray Friends Foundation!
