Miss Kennett has a passion for building strong relationships with her students and creating a dynamic, supportive and exciting learning environment. She studied Business and Human Resource Management at Sheffield Hallam University before deciding to move to China for 4 years to teach English as a second language where she found her love for teaching. Upon her return to England, she did a PGCE in Teaching and Learning where she was awarded an ‘Outstanding’ grade and has 4 years experience of teaching in Key Stage 2 in Devon, England.  Miss Kennett is entering her sixth year of teaching at DBS and is very much looking forward to being the Head of Section for Year 5 & 6.

She is thoroughly enjoying working with Year 5 & 6 students and supporting them through their learning journey. She wishes to inspire children to always try their best, take pride in their learning and enjoy sharing their successes. Her aim is for the children in her class to always come to school with a positive attitude, excited for the day of learning ahead. 

Outside of school, Miss Kennett’s passion is horse riding and she has represented the Cayman Islands, where she grew up, in international show jumping and dressage competitions. She enjoys keeping fit and can be found most evenings and weekends doing workout classes or running.

Mr. O’Sullivan is originally from Ireland. His career began in the performing arts, having trained at Cambridge Performing Arts, where he graduated in 2005 with a National Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre. He went on to perform professionally as a singer, dancer and actor. His screen credits include roles in The Tudors (HBO), Northanger Abbey (BBC) and the Irish feature film 4 Mothers. He was also the lead singer of the band Electric Blue, during which time he began teaching drama and theatre in primary schools. This passion for education and performance led Mr. O’Sullivan to take on the role of Head of Dance at The Performers Academy for over a decade, where he choreographed and directed numerous productions, including Fame and Seussical. Alongside his practical experience, he gained a Diploma in Speech and Drama Teaching from the London College of Music.

In 2016, Mr. O’Sullivan completed his Professional Master of Education, earning the Vere Foster Medal for highest teaching practice results and the Student of the Year award for the highest overall academic performance. Following his formal teacher training, Mr. O’Sullivan taught in Cork, Ireland, for six years, gaining experience across a range of year groups and developing his inclusive, creative approach to classroom teaching. He then spent two years teaching at Oakley College in Gran Canaria. Most recently, he taught Year 4 at Harrow International School in Beijing, where he also led LAMDA Musical Theatre in the Saturday School programme.

Mr. O’Sullivan is committed to creating engaging, imaginative lessons that allow every student to thrive. With a strong background in the performing arts, he brings energy, creativity and a hands-on approach to learning. He believes that school should be a place for self-expression, confidence-building and personal growth and he is passionate about supporting each child on that journey.

Ms Doser  is an experienced teacher with several years of teaching in the UK and internationally. She was born in the UK to German parents and has lived in the UK, the US, and China. Having completed all her schooling in international schools, she understands the unique experiences of internationally-minded students. She began her teaching journey in a primary school in London and is now in her third year at DBS in Bangkok.

She is passionate about supporting children through key stages of their education nurturing a love of learning, encouraging curiosity, and promoting personal growth. She strongly believes in the value of outdoor learning and enjoys creating opportunities for children to connect with nature as part of their educational journey. Her commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive classroom ensures that every child feels a strong sense of belonging and is empowered to thrive both academically and emotionally. With a deep passion for teaching, Ms Doser aims to inspire her students to become compassionate, inquisitive, and resilient learners.

Mr. Jones, originally from Wrexham, Wales, holds a BA Honours in Sport and Exercise Sciences and a Master’s degree in Primary Teaching from Bangor University. With over 10 years of teaching experience across the UK and international settings, he most recently spent five years at a leading international school in Madrid, where he developed a passion for delivering high-quality, engaging education.

At DBS, Mr. Jones brings a hands-on, energetic approach to learning, aiming to inspire independent, curious, and confident learners. He places great importance on building strong relationships with his students, ensuring each child is supported and challenged to reach their full potential. In addition to teaching, he serves as both the Head of Windsor House and Lower School House Co-ordinator, where he leads with enthusiasm and encourages participation in a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities.

Outside the classroom, Mr. Jones enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures, and staying active through a variety of sports. A lifelong football enthusiast, he plays and coaches the sport, and also enjoys golf, padel, tennis and table tennis. This year, he has enjoyed strengthening community links by organising weekly football sessions for staff and parents on the main sports field. Do contact Mr Jones if you wish to get involved.

Mrs Boden is originally from London, England. She studied Sociology at the University of Westminster before completing her PGCE at the University of Greenwich. Since qualifying in 2013, she has taught across Early Years, KS1 and KS2 in both UK and international schools.

Her teaching career has taken her to Qatar, Vietnam and Malaysia, as well as to schools in London and Berkshire. Over the past year, she has enjoyed teaching Year 2 at DBS and is excited to be moving into Year 5. She is committed to delivering inclusive and engaging lessons that foster curiosity, creativity and confidence. Mrs Boden believes in cultivating a positive and nurturing classroom environment in which every child feels supported, challenged and valued.

Outside the classroom, Mrs Boden enjoys travelling and has explored over 60 countries, including China, where she lived with a host family whilst working as an au pair. She also enjoys yoga and exploring the outdoors. She loves living in Bangkok and is excited to continue her journey at DBS.

Mrs McMillan, from Hertfordshire, UK, is an experienced educator with a strong passion for holistic teaching and inspiring her students. She holds a degree in Psychology from Loughborough University and obtained her General Primary (age 5-11) PGCE-QTS from the "Outstanding" Billericay Educational Consortium in 2013. After teaching in schools across Hertfordshire for five years, she joined DBS as a Key Stage 2 teacher in 2018, motivated by the school's philosophy of nurturing a genuine love of learning.

Mrs McMillan's teaching approach is characterised by her vibrant and enthusiastic attitude. She tailors her lessons to suit her students' unique personalities, aiming to positively engage, stimulate, and inspire them to achieve their fullest potential. As the Science Coordinator, Mrs McMillan is deeply passionate about promoting STEAM education, providing learners with an in-depth understanding of the world around them, while also developing their critical thinking skills to actively and purposefully cultivate personal growth. Mrs McMillan always encourages children to be ambitious explorers and effective problem solvers, equipping them with the skills to succeed in any field and empowering them to confidently navigate the ever-changing landscape of the future. She also leads the Y3-6 CREST awards club throughout the academic year, a UK-accredited programme that fosters a scientific and engineering mindset in young students.

In addition to her teaching expertise, Mrs McMillan is fully trilingual, fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Outside of school, she actively seeks opportunities to apply and expand her knowledge and appreciation of different languages, cultures, and cuisines.

With over a decade of experience in education since completing his PGCE at the University of Southampton, Mr Tamlyn Goodrich believes in ‘capturing the energy to release the potential’, creating engaging and ambitious learning environments where children are encouraged to achieve far more than they perhaps believe possible. He is passionate about building classrooms filled with enthusiasm, curiosity and high expectations, where every child feels challenged, supported and valued.

Having worked across leading international and preparatory schools in the United Kingdom, Malaysia and Thailand, Mr Goodrich brings extensive experience in curriculum development, safeguarding, assessment and community building. He is particularly passionate about purposeful, thematic learning that encourages curiosity, critical thinking and real-world connections for children.

Mr Goodrich believes that strong relationships sit at the heart of outstanding schools and is committed to creating warm, inclusive environments where children flourish both academically and personally. He is especially passionate about literacy, pupil wellbeing and developing confident, compassionate young people who are prepared for the future.

Alongside his work in education, Mr Goodrich has an immense passion for all sports, particularly long distance running. On weekends, after a long run and a coffee, he can often be found walking his cocker spaniel, Darcey, with his wife Danielle.
