How do I know what Apps are safe for my child?

While we monitor and manage devices at school, it is important to remember that each and every family choose to monitor and manage devices differently in their own homes. Some key points around management at home includes having the correct settings in place to manage screen time and restrictions as outlined in the @home section of this website.

Some other things to consider:

• Many of these sites have age restrictions for account activation and almost all require 13 and over access or parents permission.

• Beware that many gaming apps and sites offer the functions of online social interactions.

• Know the content first. Research the games or apps prior to allowing children to access.
