Below you will find a list of Apple Approved Apps that St. Patrick's recommends for the purpose of education at our school. In some instances teachers may require additional Apps be installed. In this case, our leadership team will assess the App and its functions, send communication to parents and update the following list accordingly.
The link to the list of apps to be purchased and/or downloaded onto your child’s iPad before the start of school next year can be found HERE or on the School Correspondence tab.
The following list, shows applications or Apps that are required for in class work with the students. Many of these apps are already preloaded on the iPad upon purchase.
Also provided are links for their easy download or viewing. Click on the icon for the desired app.
When used at school, it is expected that students only use school approved applications for educational purposes on their iPad as listed below. As the BYODD program enables students to own their iPad, parents can, and often do choose to allow the installation of other applications for games and entertainment. This of course remains the prerogative of parents, the only way we feel we can guarantee exclusive use of the school-approved applications at this stage is by only installing school-approved educational apps. Please give this consideration when deciding what other apps might be installed on your child's iPad.
