OUTREACH AND SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES - TERM 3
Coast Shelter @ East Gosford (occurs every first Monday of the month 2.30pm - 6pm approx)
Students have the opportunity to volunteer at the Community Centre which is open every day of the year providing free meals and support services to those in need.
Lakes Food Care, ToukleyÂ
Lakes Food Care is a grocery shop that helps people in the local community and surrounding areas. It is 'A hand up. not a hand out' and supported by Foodbank NSW, providing rescued low cost groceries that are generally close to their use by date but perfectly ok for consumption.
Students attending LFC will help to unstack the truck on arrival, as well as to restock shelves and on occasion, will have the opportunity to meet and greet customers.
