Dr. Pramod Arora (Teacher-In Charge)

Associate Professor
Dr. Pramod Arora is a holder of good academic record. He joined the college as a Mathematics Lecturer in 1983. He is an Associate Professor having the teaching experience of almost thirty nine years. He has four research publications in the National and International journals of repute. He has also presented his research work in several National and International seminars, workshops and conferences. He has also participated in several faculty development programmes held at University level.
Besides teaching, he has worked in various committees of the college such as Admission and Workload Planning Committee, Time Table Committee, Building and Furniture Committee, Prospectus Committee, a co-opted member of a committee constituted by the Governing Body for the purpose of Workload, a member of the Standing Committee Constituted by the Governing Body, a member of an Enquiry Committee Constituted by the Governing Body, and Provident Fund Committee. He also served as a Deputy Superintendent of University Examination, Deputy Coordinator of Central Evaluation Centre (CEC), and Deputy Election Officer for the Election to Deshbandhu College Students Union. He was Convenor and the member of the House Examination Committee.
Prof. Harindri Chaudhary

Prof. Harindri Chaudhary is a meritorious student. She is a passionate teacher and an ardent researcher having published more than 25 research papers in several peer reviewed national and international journals. She obtained her graduation from Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi, Post graduation from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi and M. Phil. from the University of Delhi. She has completed her Ph.D. in Mathematics from Jamia Millia Islamia, A Central University, New Delhi. She is a recipient of many medals for standing first in various categories during her graduation and has been awarded Merit-cum- Means scholarship in M.Sc. (I.I.T., Delhi) during 1993-1995. She has secured AIR-SECOND in GATE-96 examination.
She has more than 25 years of teaching experience from various colleges affiliated to University of Delhi. She has attended more than 60 conferences, several faculty development programs, refresher and orientation courses.She has been on the review boards of numerous national and international journals. She has served as Teacher-In-Charge of the department during 2012-2014. She has organized many national and international level workshops/ conferences held in the college and has been a part of Technical Program Committee of several conferences. She has delivered talks on Vedic Mathematics and History of Ancient Mathematics of India, in several colleges of Delhi University. She has been actively associated with several committees/ societies of the college as convener and member.
Dr. Navin Chandra

Dr. Navin Chandra possesses more than 20 years of teaching experience in the University of Delhi. He completed his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Mathematics, University of Delhi in the year 2000. His areas of specialization are Space Dynamics and Bio-mathematics. He teaches Differential Equations and Numerical Analysis to the undergraduate students, and Fluid Dynamics to the postgraduate students. He has several research publications in the reputed National and International journals. He has also participated in various workshops, seminars and conferences. He works for the several committees of the college.
Mr. Manoj Kumar

Mr. Manoj Kumar has completed his M.Phil. degree from CCS University Campus, Meerut in 2009. He holds an excellent academic record. His area of specialisation is pure mathematics. He possesses teaching experience of more than twelve years. He teaches Differential Equations and Calculus to undergraduate students. He prominently takes part in academic activities of the college. He works effectively in the various committees of the college and has been taken the charge of Treasurer of Deshbandhu College Teachers Association. He was also an active member of college grievance and purchase committees. He regularly takes part in various seminars, workshops and faculty development programs.
Dr. Rajender Kumar

Dr. Rajender obtained his Ph.D in Mathematics from South Asian University, New Delhi under the supervision of Prof. Pankaj Jain, Department of Mathematics, SAU, New Delhi. He completed M.Phil in Mathematics from Departemnt of Mathematics, CCS University, Meerut, U.P., India in 2008. His areas of specialisation are Function Spaces and Integral Transforms. He holds the teaching experience of more than ten years in the University of Delhi. He teaches B.Sc. and M.Sc. courses. He is Assistant Co-orinator and Academic Counselor in IGNOU study center at Deshbandhu College. He possesses three research publications in international peer-reviewed journals. He has participated in several seminars, conferences and workshops. Not only sticking to the participation in the academic events, he was also the part of organising team in some of them. Apart from the faculty development programmes, he has attended some Refresher and Orientation coureses. He holds several positions in the college committees.
Mr. Mukesh Aggarwal

Mr. Mukesh Aggarwal is an alumnus of the University of Delhi. He completed his M.Phil. on the topic “Uniformly Star-like Functions and Uniformly Convex Functions” in 2010. His area of specialisation is Complex Analysis. He has more than thirteen years of teaching experience in University of Delhi. He teaches Algebra and Analysis to undergraduate students. He has qualified GATE with All India Rank 62 with 97.61 percentile in 2009. He has also been shortlisted for the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee (SPM) Fellowship interview under the CSIR fellowship scheme in 2009. He got selected for M.Sc.+ Ph.D. programme with a Scholarship from Houston Texas USA in 2006. He was the topper of college in graduation. He worked as an active member of the Central Admission Committee of Deshbandhu College. He regularly takes part in the seminars, workshops and conferences. He keeps interest in attending the faculty development programmes since he believes in learning and improving.
Ms. Parveen Bawa

Ms. Parveen Bawa got her post-graduation degree from Punjab University in 2007 with a good academic record. She is pursuing Ph.D. from Amity University. Her area of specialization is Approximation Theory. She has been working as a Mathematics lecturer and teaching mathematics subjects on Master and Bachelors level over the last ten years. She teaches Algebra, Analysis and Linear Programming to undergraduate students. She regularly participates in various academic activities like workshops, conferences and seminars. She has also presented her work in the form of posters in International conferences. She has attended several faculty development programmes. She was college topper in her graduation with score of 95% in mathematics. She has been appointed as an expert of mathematics in schools like Bharatiya Vidya Bhavans and DAV public school for taking interviews of TGT teachers.
Mr. Rohit Goel

Mr. Rohit Goel is teaching in Delhi University since 2012. His area of research is Cubic B-Spline Numerical Solutions for the nonlinear mathematical models. He is also recipient of Indian Oil Scholarships - Energising Success. He started his career by teaching at CCS University Campus Meeeut. He was also selected as Assistant Professor at Patna Science College (Patna University) through BPSC. He teaches Real Analysis, Complex Analysis, Differential Equations and Numerical Analysis. He has done book editing work and published research papers in reputed academic journals. He actively participate in National and International Seminars, Workshops, Faculty Development Programs, Orientation Programs and Conferences. He has also worked actively in Central Admission, Open Book Examination, Prospectus, Canteen, Time Table and Culture Committee of the college.
Dr. Susheel Kumar

Dr. Susheel Kumar received his Ph.D. degree on the topic “Growth of Polynomials" from the Jamia Millia Islamia University (Central University), New Delhi, in 2012. He completed his M.Phil. from Ch. Charan Singh University(Campus), Meerut. His area of specialisation is Complex Analysis. He holds the teaching experience of more than 8 years in the University of Delhi. He has 5 publications in the International Journals of repute and presented his research in several conferences. He also presented his work in poster form in ICM at Seoul, Korea in 2014. He has participated in several seminars, conferences and workshops. He involves himself in various academic activities.
Dr. Dinesh Kumar

Dr. Dinesh Kumar has completed Ph.D. from the Department of Mathematics, University of Delhi in the year 2022. He joined Department of Mathematics, Deshbandhu College in 2017. He holds teaching experience of more than 6 years in the University of Delhi. His areas of specialization are Dynamical Systems, Non linear Dynamics and Celestial Mechanics. He completed his M.Phil. in the same field at the University of Delhi in 2016. He has qualified IIT-GATE and CSIR/UGC-NET/JRF. He constantly takes interest in research and published 17 research articles in reputed journals. He is a reviewer of Applications and Applied Mathematics: An International Journal. He has participated and presented several research articles in various National and International seminars, workshops and conferences. He has also attended several Teacher's Enrichment Workshops and Faculty Development Programmes. He is an integral member of NAAC SSR committee and Discipline Committe of Annual Fest Sabrang of Deshbandhu college. Dr. Sunil Kumar has received his Ph.D. on the topic "Finite Element and Finite Volume-Complete Flux Schemes for Singularly Perturbed Problems" from IIT Kanpur in 2017. His areas of interests are Singularly Perturbed Problems, Finite Element Methods, Complete Flux Scheme. He also received NBHM-2010 research award. He teaches Algebra, Calculus, LPP and Numerical Methods etc to the undergraduate students of B.Sc.(H) courses. He has published seven research papers in peer-reviewed International Journals. He has participated in several conferences/workshops and has presented his research papers.
Dr. Bhagwat Sharan

Dr. Bhagwat has completed his Ph.D. in Lie Algebras and Group Algebras from the University of Lucknow in 2020. His area of specialisation is Algebra. Dr. Chirag Garg

Dr. Chirag got his Ph.D. in Algebra from IIT Delhi in 2017. He holds a good academic record and qualified GATE with AIR 13 (percentile 99.65) in 2011. Dr. Tanvi has received Ph.D. Degree from the Department of Mathematics, University of Delhi in the field of Mathematical modeling in 2022. She possesses teaching experience of five years in the University of Delhi. Her areas of specialization are Differential Equations, Mathematical Modeling and Numerical Methods. She is an active researcher and has published seven research papers in reputed National and International journals in the field of epidemiological modeling. She is also a member of American Mathematical Society (AMS). She often participates in conferences and seminars, and so far, she has attended many seminars, symposiums and conferences nationally and internationally.
Dr. Pankaj Kumar

Dr. Pankaj Kumar has received his M.Sc. and PhD degrees from the Department of Mathematics, IIT Roorkee, India, in 2012 and 2021, respectively. He has worked as a research associate till Sep 30, 2021. His main research interest includes Queueing/Reliability models, Fault-Tolerant Machining Systems, Stochastic Processes and Optimization. Over ten papers in SCI ranked journals and conferences, including Reliability Engineering and System Safety, ISA transactions, Journal of Ambient Intelligence and Humanized Computing and Arabian Journal for Science Engineering. He has attended more than ten national/international conferences and workshops. He is recipient of MHRD fellowship while carrying out his doctorate work.
Dr. Rahul Shukla

Dr. Rahul Shukla completed bachelor's and master degree from Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, and earned his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) in Approximation Theory. He is an editorial board member of the SCOPUS indexed journal Researches in Mathematics published by Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, Ukraine. Dr. Shukla's current interest lies in the area of multivariate approximation, neural network approximation, and quantum calculus. Based on his research interests, Dr. Shukla has published 8 papers in the international journal of repute, as well as presented his work in many international conferences. Dr. Abhishek Kumar earned his doctorate in the field of "Mathematical Epidemiology" from Delhi Technological University, Delhi in 2019. He received his M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from IIT Roorkee in 2013. He has qualified the competitive exams like IIT JAM and CSIR UGC NET. His areas of interest are Mathematical Epidemiology and Applied Dynamical Systems. He actively takes interest in research. He has published over twelve research papers in SCI/Scopus-ranked international journals. He is the reviewer of many reputed international journals such as the International Journal of Biomathematics, Waves in Random and Complex Media, etc. He has presented his research work at many international conferences and chaired sessions as well. Moreover, He has participated in several Workshops, Seminars, STTPs and FDPs. He received a Commendable Research Award for excellence in research from Delhi Technological University in 2020 and 2021. He has worked at NIT Jalandhar, University of Delhi (South Campus), and Sharda University, Greater Noida. Mr. Mansimran Singh

Mr. Mansimran is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Deshbandhu College, University of Delhi. He is graduated from St. Stephen’s College with an undergraduate and postgraduate degree in Mathematics and later worked as an MPhil research scholar at the University of Delhi in computational and applied mathematics. His main research interests include Harmonic and Functional Analysis. As a Master trainer at a teaching-learning centre of the Indian Ministry of Education, he has been actively involved in training school and college teachers from across India in ICT skills and e-content development. He believes that integrating education and technology is vital in creating resilient education systems responsive to evolving contexts and disruption. Outside work, he likes to spend time playing tennis and cricket, gaming, cooking, and traveling.
