Dr. Dinesh Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Deshbandhu College, University of Delhi. He started his teaching carrer as an Assistant Professor in July 2016 from Shyama Prasad Mukherji College, University of Delhi. He joined Deshbandhu College in August 2017.

He has completed Ph.D. from the Department of Mathematics, University of Delhi in the year 2022. He holds teaching experience of more than 6 years in the University of Delhi. His areas of specialization are Dynamical Systems, Non linear Dynamics and Celestial Mechanics. He completed his M.Phil. in the same field at the University of Delhi in 2016. 

He has qualified IIT-GATE and CSIR/UGC-NET/JRF. He constantly takes interest in research and published 19 research articles in reputed journals. He is a reviewer of Applications and Applied Mathematics: An International Journal. He has participated and presented several research articles in various National and International seminars, workshops and conferences. He has also attended several Teacher's Enrichment Workshops and Faculty Development Programmes. 

He is a lifetime member of the Indian Science Congress (ISC) and Centre for Fundamental Research in Space Dynamics and Celestial Mechnaics (CFRSC).
