International seminar on the topic of “Sovereignty of Nanotechnology in Environmental Sustainability” was held in the Department of Chemistry, Deshbandhu College on 19 December 2019. Professor Ajay Mishra, was the chief guest and invited speaker from Nanotechnology and water sustainability research unit, College of Engineering, Science and Technology, University of South Africa, Johannesburg.
Professor Mishra has addressed the current and emerging issues relating to water quality and water scarcity in his talk and focused on the development of nanotechnology techniques including enhanced membrane materials and adsorbents for the water treatment/ purification and desalination.
