Happy Friday, EV Families,
Friendly reminder... only 2 days of school this coming week! Thanksgiving Break is Wednesday, November 22 - Friday, November 24. NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS THOSE 3 DAYS! We will see everyone back to school on Monday, November 27! We hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving spent with family and friends!
SHOUT OUT to our PTO Volunteer Crew for decorating for our Veteran's Program this past Monday. It was a beautiful event all around. Students sang and led with pride to represent the East View Shining Suns! We were all truly honored to celebrate our Military Veterans.
Also, a special SHOUT OUT to all the families who joined our SEL Family Night this past Wednesday. We had a great turnout and value your attendance and participation to learn about our SEL program and the many resources our school and community have to offer!

Your child will recieve a certificate to bring home as well as a certificate displayed at school. POSITIVE pictures from the principals will be sent. We ♥️ celebrating AMAZING behavior.

Just a quick reminder our Veteran's Program is Monday, November 13th at 8:00am in our Gymnasium. Please have your child wear red, white, or blue to help in celebrating our veterans.
Additonally, PICTURE RE-TAKE DAY is Tuesday, November 14th. For students to have their Fall school picture retaken, students will need to return their original, purchased pictures on this day as well.
At Parent Teacher Conferences, you received our Title I Parent Compact and Policy. Please take a few minutes to give us feedback on our Title I Program and coordination of Family Engagement funds! Click here for the brief survey! Thank you in advance!

We are a PBIS school (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports ). This means that our school has systems in place when it comes to behavior. Staff members are trained throughout the year.
