We have had a great week back at school! Monday began with a dance party celebration due to our achievement in reaching both our Reading and Math Winter goals! See the pics below!
Our staff and students have worked diligently to "get better every day" alongside each and every one of YOU... our families! Working as a TEAM is a must for the success of our students! So THANK YOU!
We are so very proud of our East View SHINING SUNS! Our staff and students plan to continue this effort in the 2nd semester and strive towards our Spring goals!

Your child will receive a certificate to bring home as well as a certificate displayed at school. POSITIVE pictures from the principals will be sent. We ♥️ celebrating AMAZING behavior.

Just a friendly reminder we have a 3-day weekend. We do NOT have school on Monday, January 15th due to the holiday celebrating Martin Luther King, Jr.
Please look over the DCPS@Home information that your child has brought home. It will give you all the information you need, in the event of a DCPS@Home Learning Day! Please keep black folders, Day 1-5 packets, and chromebooks and chargers in backpacks. We we want to keep these items organized and safe IFa DCPS@Home learning Day were to be called. Thank you in advance!

We have had a wonderful 3-day week here at EV. Again, our staff was so very excited to see each and every SHINING SUN walk through our doors this past Wednesday!
East View jumped right back in the swing of school! This week we focused on being Respectful, and introduced our SEL Word of the Month ~ Responsibility! We will continue to challenge each student to "get better each day" at reaching their highest levels of academic, social, and behavior excellence!
Thank you to all of our Parent Volunteers who supported our staff and students today! We appreciate your helping hands and loving hearts for East View!
