Happy Friday, EV Families,
As we wrap up our 1st semester, I cannot thank you enough for allowing all of us here at East View to support your child in their daily education. Our mission is to develop the whole child by empowering ALL students to learn at their highest level of academic and social excellence. We could not do this without YOU! We are truly blessed to have these precious children in our lives and in our school building each and every day. So again, THANK YOU!
Our East View Staff wishes you ALL the Happiest of Holidays! We will see students back on Wednesday, January 3rd.

Your child will recieve a certificate to bring home as well as a certificate displayed at school. POSITIVE pictures from the principals will be sent. We ♥️ celebrating AMAZING behavior.

Thanks to ALL of our 4th and 5th grade families who joined us for the 4th & 5th grade Christmas Program! We always love having visitors in the builidng. Students have worked diligently to practice for this special performance! We are so proud of their effort and participation in this event!
As we continue Winter Assessment checks over the next three weeks, please support your child with encouragement and support! We KNOW each and every SHINING SUN is capable of learning, growing, and achieving!
Just a friendly reminder, this will be our last full week of school before Christmas Break. After the break, students will return on Wednesday, January 3, 2024!

Happy Friday, EV Families,
We are getting so close to the halfway point of our school year. The days fly by when we are all striving to get better every day! With that being said, our students are beginning Winter Assessments to check progress in Reading and Math this coming week, and will continue for the next 4 weeks. You can check out our Reading and Math school-wide goals below. Our ultimate goal is for 100% of our students to achieve on grade level, but we are tackling that goal one day, week, month, year at a time!
As we are encouraging, motivating, and celebrating students here at school, we empower you to do the same at home. When home and school work as a TEAM, there is nothing our beautiful staff and children cannot achieve!

A Time of Giving!
Mrs. Marsengill, EV Art Teacher, shared with staff today... "Shout out to EVES students who have written over 100 Christmas cards to local nursing homes. Using art to encourage others is one of our goals in the Art Room. I love their sweet hearts and the gratitude and kindness they show to others."
Friendly reminder for afternoon car riders ~ Please have student car tags with PikMyKid numbers visible on the front dash and ANNOUNCE on the app when you arrive. This will help tremendously with a smooth dismissal!
