5543 Compassionate and Resilient Schools - Aubrey Draughn and Jennifer Swofford
This session will provide an overview of the DCS Compassionate & Resilient Schools (CRS) district initiative that was kicked off last year at Mocksville Elementary School. Participants will deepen their understanding of the Who, What, Where, When & Why for DCS Compassionate & Resilient Schools. This session will provide CRS resources and the opportunity for student services professionals to have their CRS questions answered.

Nurses will participate in On-line continuing education in one of the following areas: 1) Nurse, Take Care of Thy Self 2) Infection Control 3) Meeting the Challenge of Pediatric Pain Patients 4) An Action Plan for Cultural Competence or 5) Medication Non-adherence. All on-line CEUs are available free through SNANC (School Nurse Association of North Carolina) website.
