Greetings Parents and Students,

I have been a Physical Education/Health Teacher and sports coach for 21 years. I taught Elementary PE (3 years), Middle School PE/Health (13 years), and High School PE/Health (5 years). My support staff at home include my wife Donna, 5 children, 1 grandaughter, and 10 dogs. My passion to teach Physical Education and Health continues to grow each and everyday. My goal is to the best PE/Health Teacher to my students and school. I achieve this by being adaptable to change and utilizing other great PE/Health teachers ideas and strategies to create my own.

Educational Background:

Rockford College: Bachelor of Science (Physical Education/Health)

Concordia University: Masters of Arts (Sports Management)

United States Sports Academy: Doctorate in Sports Management. All But Dissertation (ABD)

Gardner Webb University: Add-on Principal License Program. Expected Principal License by August 2022.

Professional Experience: Physical Education/Health Teacher for 21.5 years. Taught at elementary, middle, and high school.

Coaching Experience: Softball, Baseball, Basketball, and Football Coach.

Athletic Director: 3 years for Moncure School and Assistant A.D. for 1 year South Davidson High School and Brown Middle School.

A.D. Duties: I maintain fields by mowing and lining fields during the fall and spring months. I also fund raise for the PE program. Our Brown PE program has a surplus of 6,000 for PE uniforms. Two of our big fundraisers is Field Day and Winter Olympics.
