南非特色美食介紹

Teacher Elize introduces her favorite food from South Africa.
1. Fudge 乳脂軟糖
This is a traditional dessert or sweet treat. It tastes sweet!
南非傳統甜點，嘗起來甜甜的！
2. Biltong 牛肉乾
This is a snack. It is dried beef. It tastes salty!
用乾燥牛肉做成的點心，鹹鹹的！
3. Beef Pie 牛肉派
This is made from beef and pastry and has to be cooked in the oven. In South Africa it is eaten as a main dish served with vegetables and fries or mashed potatoes. It tastes salty.
用牛肉和酥皮做成的，通常會烤熟再吃。在南非當作主餐，搭配蔬菜、薯條或馬鈴薯泥，吃起來鹹鹹的！
4. Koeksister 姊妹酥餅 (pronounced cook sister)
This is a traditional dessert or sweet treat served with afternoon tea. It tastes sweet!

We are going through a special time.
我們正經歷一段非常特殊的時期
Everyone should stay at home.
大家都應該待在家裡
Once upon a time, there was an evil family of viruses called the Coronavirus.
從前，有一個邪惡的病毒家族叫做「新冠病毒」
-They have crown like spikes.
他們有尖尖的皇冠
-This virus is very powerful and sneaky.
這種病毒強大且卑鄙
-This virus can harm animals and people.
可以傷害動物和人類
First, the virus only infected wild animals.
起初，這種病毒只感染野生動物
People that didn’t know about the virus, came in contact with the wild animals and it gave the virus the chance to enter human bodies.
人們跟動物接觸後，病毒就轉移到人體身上。
When the virus enters human bodies, it spends 2-14 days to see it’s new environment.
當病毒進到體內，會花2-14天觀察它的新環境
This is called: the incubation period.
這就是「潛伏期」
In this time people may not feel sick at all!
這段期間人們完全不會感到不舒服!
People’s bodies recognize the virus and our immune system will try it’s best to protect us.
我們的身體發現病毒的存在，免疫系統會努力保護我們
The virus and the immune system are at war!
病毒和免疫系統大戰了一番
The virus is very powerful so while our body is fighting the virus we may experience :
這種病毒攻擊力非常強，我們的身體可能會感到以下症狀:
1.Fever 發燒
2.Tiredness 疲倦
3.Coughing 咳嗽
4.Difficulty breathing 呼吸困難
If you have these symptoms you need to go to the doctor immediately.
如果你有這些症狀，你必須馬上就醫
The doctors and nurses will help your body to fight the virus.
護理人員會幫你對抗病毒
This virus is very contagious.
這種病毒傳染力很高
It means it’s very easy to spread!
很容易傳播開來
It can affect people through fluid droplets from the respiratory tract.
它能通過呼吸道的飛沫傳染
When we talk, sneeze or cough we spray out saliva and this is how the virus infects more people.
當我們說話、打噴嚏或咳嗽，我們就口水噴濺出來就把病毒傳染給他人
What can we use to STOP the virus from spreading?
要如何防止病毒傳播呢
We must wear a mask and try to stay at home.
我們一定要戴口罩並待在家
If we MUST go out we can do the following:
如果必須出門，一定要注意：
1. Wear a mask and gloves.
戴口罩和手套
2. Don’t touch your eyes, mouth, nose or the outside of our mask.
不要觸摸眼睛、嘴巴、鼻子或是口罩外側
3. Wash your hands.
勤洗手
4. Stay away from places with a lot of people.
不要到人多的地方
Remember to eat lots of fruits and vegetables, and sleep a lot to make your immune system strong.
多吃蔬菜、水果，睡眠充足增強免疫力
If you do get sick don’t worry, your parents and the doctors will help you to get rid of the virus.
如果你生病了，不要擔心，你的家人或醫生會幫助你。
