TESTS

Students are responsible to take Retake on their own time. Students have the option to take the Retake during lunch, during planning, or during We Work Wednesday.

Students have ten school days from the date of the original test to take the Retake. Once the 11th day has arrived, the grade from the original test will be permanent.

If a student is absent on the day of the original test, a student has ten school days from the date of the original test to take the Retake. Once the 11th day has arrived and the student has failed to take the original test, the zero will remain in the grade book permanently.

QUIZZES

Quizzes are not eligible for Retakes. Students have ten days from the original date of the quiz to make it up. If a student fails to take the quiz on his/her own time, the zero will remain permanently as of the 11th day.

CLASSWORK / PARTICIPATION

All students start out with 100% participation points. Depending on participation, the grade may lower over the course of the class period.

Classwork can be graded three ways. Students do not know before hand how they are being graded.

1. Participation: Students will receive either 100% for completion or 0% for non-completion
2. 70: All students will receive at least a 70% and any student who scores higher will be given that grade
3. Accuracy: Students will receive the grade they earn based on performance

HOMEWORK

In-Class Homework assignments are due BEFORE the Tardy bell rings.

Online Homework assignments are due by 11:59pm on the due date. Student must inform teacher BEFORE the due date, that they are unable to completion homework assignment due to internet connection issues at home. Online Homework assignments are available for at least one week and therefore late work will not be accepted.
