Parent & Community Involvement

Parent and community engagement is very important for our students. We would love to have parent volunteers. Here are some ways that you can be a part. 

PTO- Parent Teacher Organization meets monthly to discuss activities and fund raisers to provide fun activities for our students and staff. 

SIT- School Improvement Team meets monthly to establish school wide goals and action steps to grow our programs at MMS. These goals are monitored and assessed monthly by the team. 

Tomahawk Time Club Volunteers- Have a unique hobby you want to share with students; knitting, macramé, Chess, building items, etc... let us know and we will put you on the schedule. 

Superintendent's Parent Advisory- Meet monthly with Mr. Basnight to discuss school topics and provide parent feedback.
