Good afternoon, 

To help ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all spectators, Dare County Schools will implement a Clear Bag Policy at all spring athletic events across Dare County.

What this means for spectators:

• Bags brought into athletic venues must be clear (plastic, vinyl, or PVC) and no larger than 12" x 6" x 12." One gallon clear plastic storage bags are allowed.

• Small clutch purses or wallets no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" (with or without a strap) are permitted.

• Medically necessary bags are permitted.

• Backpacks, large purses, tote bags, or any non-clear bags that exceed the size limits are not permitted.

• Coolers or oversized bags (unless part of an approved team or event need) are not permitted.
  
  

All bags are subject to inspection upon entry. Spectators who arrive with prohibited bags may be asked to return them to their vehicle or dispose of them before entering.
