Using student EOG Data students will be placed in Tiers and provided supports right away. Our schedule includes a built in time called Tomahawk Time to provide each student with the support and enrichment they need to be successful. Teachers will assign students Intervention during TT to give Tier 2 support, our Math and ELA Interventionists will provide Math and ELA Support to our Tier 3 Students; these are not optional. Students are moved in and out of Tiers based on their assessments and progress monitoring data. Ex: A Tier 3 Student has shown 6 weeks of continued growth and mastery of the skills they are working on, they will be moved to Tier 2 for Teacher support, and hopefully to Tier I. The goal of MTSS is to expose and close individual student learning gaps. Students receiving Tier 2 or 3 Interventions will receive a notification letter.
