TEDx Danube 2025
On Friday, March 14th, Danube International School Vienna held the second edition of TEDx Talk Youth. The evening was a great success, with thought provoking talks from teachers, parents and students. Under the theme "Beyond Borders", the event showcased talks on a wide variety of topics, such as social psychology and expectations, body language and gender equality. Congratulations to the two grade 12 student organisers for a great event!
Cabaret 2024
Cabaret 2024 took place at Danube International School Vienna to raise funds for the Waluka/Miwani schools in Kenya. More than 70 students, staff and parents participated in the event. Congratulations to our performers and volunteers!
Amnesty International Workshop 2025
Our grade 11 students were engaged in a workshop led by Amnesty International on the topic of Human Rights. The workshop was organised by a grade 12 student as part of the CAS program and was run entirely in German. During the workshop, students learned about the definition of human rights in Austria, and about the challenges faced by the local and migrant populations.
Drug Awareness Workshop 2025
Our grade 8 and 9 students participated in a drug awareness workshop organised by Drogenfreies Österreich. In the workshop, they learnt about the negative effects of drugs and alcohol and signed a pledge to live a drug-free life. The event was presented by two representatives of Drogenfreies Österreich, a charity organisation dedicated to educating young people about drugs, and lasted one hour and a half. This was a valuable learning experience for our grade 8 and 9 students.

CAS Week 2024
From September 2nd to 6th, grade 11 students engaged in five days of experiences to learn more about the CAS program. They attended workshops explaining CAS and other grade 11 programs, and engaged in three days of Creativity, Activity and Service experiences.

Global Action Days 2024
From April 22nd to May 3rd, we encourage our students to participate in the Global Action Days organized by the Eco-Schools organisation. During the two weeks of the Action Days, five activities will be carried out. The themes are:
