Choreography Dates

June 6-14, July 16-20, August 15-17, August 22-24, 2025

DU TECHNIQUE CLASSES

ALL Vibe dancers are required to be enrolled in Summer Ballet, Jazz, Tap, & Hip Hop classes.

Mini and Jr one levels must be present for at least 6 Summer classes in each style. In addition, Mini dancers must also be enrolled in Acro during Summer.

JR 2-5 and all Teens must be present for at least 10 Summer classes in Ballet and Jazz, 5 for Tap and Hip Hop. Any additional classes taken count towards make ups to be used in Fall semester.

In addition, Junior dancers must also be enrolled in Acro and Teens are encouraged to enroll in Acro as well during Summer.

Most, if not all, Teen and Senior group numbers, as well as a select number of Junior group numbers will be learned during these weeks. Any conflicts submitted will be considered during scheduling; however, they are not guaranteed to be accommodated as our scheduling flexibility with guest choreographers is very limited.

Dancers cast in the numbers being learned and rehearsed during these weeks are required to attend ALL scheduled rehearsals. If a dancer is not available, they will forfeit their spot in the number. Subs/Stand-ins/Covers will NOT be permitted, no exceptions. Casting will be announced one week following auditions in May. Parents should not email VIBE director regarding casing decisions. If a dancer is not cast in a number that is rehearsing, but would like to understudy, they are welcome and encouraged to do so.

SUMMER WORKSHOP REQUIREMENTS

ALL Mini/Junior/Teen dancers are required to participate in “Bringin’ the Beat” camp at DU | July 2025

NEW: Senior dancers are required to attend a summer workshop OR can attend Bringin in the Beat to fulfill this requirement.

Seniors: Any of the below workshops are acceptable to sub out for BITB. Minis, Juniors, Teens, you are welcome to attend any of these workshops in addition to BITB and it will count towards make ups.
