Have you ever thought about what the worst candy to receive during Halloween while trick-or-treating is? This is my personal opinion so whatever I say may not be your same opinion. Out of all my travels of 14 years, I have compiled this list of the WORST candy to receive while trick-or-treating through extensive and precise research. For adults who buy candy at the last minute, DO NOT buy any candy from this list despite their 2 for 1 sale.
Wax lips
First off, wax lips do not have an enjoyable taste. It's admirable that the manufacturers didn't attempt to disguise the product with a misleading name or fancy packaging. When you think about it, you would literally be eating a candle. Even though it has a gentle bit to it, why would you want to eat wax.
Hard grandma candies
The same goes with hard grandma candies; they have a melancholy taste and are not fun to eat. They are sweet and sugary. At times, it is hard to unwrap them in the dark especially while walking and carrying other items because they normally have to be unwrapped from both sides.
Bootleg Gummies
Bootleg gummies have a distinct taste with them that at points you “can't get out of your mouth”. Bootleg, no name, fake brand candy that inevitably gets left in the bowl or your Halloween bag because you have standards as a human being.
Necco Wafers
Necco wafers just stick to your teeth and the roof of your mouth and is a pain to try and remove. They just don't have any type of flavor and are not even enjoyable to eat.
Anything that isn't candy (a.k.a. Apples, raisins, toys, batteries, stickers, etc.)
There are many more types of candy that people should not eat or buy that are not on this list. However, steer clear of any non branded candy, there are many dangers when coming to those types. I still don’t know why people give out non named generic candy.
In conclusion, trick-or-treating is fun and we cant hold people's personal choices against them. Be a gracious receiver of tricks and treats. Who knows, maybe you might like them… but I sure don’t!
