This session will provide guidance and a blueprint for planning this year, from course offerings to recruitment tools to communicating your program needs. Directors will receive exemplars of class schedules, spring recruitment tools, parent contact templates, performance preparation, and retention. The session will be structured using whole-group presentations and small group/break-out room rounds.

This session is designed to frame the feeder pattern model in Dallas ISD. Discussion will be led by directors who have found success this year. Also, expect to engage in a end of the year planning session with your feeder.
The Power of "Re" - Reinventing Leadership in the Music Classroom
Audience: Choral/General/Elementary Music Teachers | K-12 Grade

Creating a brave space in the music classroom where failure is not only allowed, but is also encouraged can be very difficult. This session will focus on how we can go about the process of reinventing how we go about our daily routines in order to impact our long term realities for our students and ourselves.
Audience: Visual Arts Teachers | PreK-12 Grade

VASE art teachers will stay in their classrooms and prepare artwork for the Region 10 VASE competition by entering student entries, matting 2D artwork, and boxing 3D artwork. Virtual check-ins at 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM will take place via TEAMS to answer questions.
